Plaji were ancient predatory reptiles that were mentioned in ancient Predecessor texts, and even shown in recovered footage. It was most likely a creature found only on Zeban. It went extinct when the Precursors wiped the planet clean of life during their industrialization of it.
According to other texts, the Plaji were said to have been the descendants of the Predecessors, as they share many similiaraties. The Plaji were also a delicacy to the Precursors, who saw the animal as "soft, fleshy and easy to catch."
